We see it on the news almost every night- NEEDLESS, AVOIDABLE LOSS...From a dog bite to the actual mauling of kids! There were
an estimated 5 million dog bites in America last year alone and 2/3 of those involved children. It is The Dog Lady's calling to help curve this canine-human epidemic through education.
The Dog Lady's "K9's and Kids" program is dedicated to educate our children by volunteering instructional programs through schools and other organizations. "K9's and Kids" coaches the kids on how to properly behave around any type of dog and how to safely react to aggressive canines. This program includes important demonstrations on how to avoid dog bites, what to do in the case a bite has occurred, how to be your dog's best friend, and others.
Through this program we hope to educate and protect our future!
